Ideas to channel your kids creativity
Kids are naturally artistic and creative. Being creative and playing with your food is one way a child can learn and explore food and cooking. It can be as easy as forming mashed potato hills and broccoli trees or arranging your lunch into a face or animal. Use some of these ideas to channel your kids creativity. They will see instant results and can eat their artistic work too.
For older chefs helping them be creative in cooking can be as simple as getting them involved in planning dinner and other meals each week. Give them a list of ingredients and ask what could we do with this? Or they can invent and create their own version of a recipe. Lasagna or any pasta dish can be easily changed and made into something new and unique.

Toy Story for kids
Disney’s Toy Story 3 was one of the most popular and top grossing movies of all time. Many families went to see the Toy Story 3 movie, with kids and parents both enjoying the film together. While watching this latest Disney-Pixar creation, parents must have seen plenty of classic toys that they recalled from their childhood. Kids, meanwhile, were introduced to the previous generation’s toys, some of which they probably also had at home. Many toys in the movie are classics and still made today, such as Mr. Potato Head or the Chatter Telephone.
The highest-grossing Disney-Pixar movie of all time, it has sparked demand for all kinds of retro toys, both those seen in the Toy Story movies and those that today’s adults remember from their childhood. Many children may have simply said they wanted a particular toy like they saw in the movie, only to have a parent tell them they had one as a child or when they were a child they had wanted one.
